I have just finished the book and I must say, I'm really impressed. Michelle and Jim Bob, as well as the older children and even Anna, give good insight through their journey, early years of busy and marriages, mistakes made and lessons learned, how they teach and raise their children function as a family, and how pray and how God has worked in their lives and how He always provides for their needs when they pray and trust in Him.

It also shows to me how much of a co-pilot Michelle really is and how equal partners Jim and Michelle are. Michelle's even still very much involved with the real estate business and Jim Bob makes no decission (most of the time) with talking to her about it. Jim Bob explained how important it is to listen Michelle and how he learns his lesson everytime he dosen't.

There are deffinitly some suprises, especially some suprise mistakes they have made and learned from. You'll have to read the book to find out what they are. Laughing

The recipes are crazy. "Taco soup"? "Broccoli casserole"? "Sloppy Joes"? What else are they going to have. "Wicked cheesy smoked salmon broth for 20"?!?!?!?!
