So do we have any clue when it's starting?

It's currently airing on Discovery Health Channel (as of October 2008), saw two episodes this evening (10/08/2008).

It appears that TLC carries the new episodes and some reruns, with DHC carrying reruns only.

Apparently the setup is that a new 30-minute episode airs on Mondays at 10 Eastern Time on TLC, with either another new episode or a rerun immediately following. The TLC website lists all shows through the 15th only, which would make 10 episodes. Whether this will be it for the first season or if more are coming, remains to be seen.

I hope there will continue to be follow-ups, if not necessarily a second season.

I haven't seen any updates on the TLC network listing past 11/10 for new episodes; everything else past that date are reruns. Maybe the Duggars agreed to only 10 episodes this season (they do have a family to raise, after all) and maybe next year (or next spring) there will be some more. Then again, we don't know what the ratings are and maybe they aren't coming in that well. I hope not as the episodes have been interesting.

It would be nice if they'll follow Josh and Anna some, as well.

The episode premires are secudaled to run till mid December and end with Josh and Anna's wedding! There are probably 13 episodes will is the minimun per season for a TV series. They just haven't listed the last 3 yet.

I just read an update on Josh and Anna's website and their wedding will air in January!

The second season of 17 Kids and Counting is currently being filmed. After the new baby is born, it'll need to be renamed 18 kids and Counting or 20 and Counting (Title of their book and including the parents.

Oh good. I'm glad there's enough interest to keep the show going.

Jordyn Grace's birth will air on TLC Monday, December 22.

Alas, I missed this!

I hope they won't air this horrible show ever again. If anyone watches this it would make them the most jealous people in the world???
